An agent is only listed when its extension is enabled and available. Custom agents and agents added by other plugins appear too.
Default tool and skill assignments#
Counts describe recommended base allowlists, including image reading but excluding six shared helpers. Optional Pro additions and disabled/unavailable tools change actual access. Saved edits and pending or declined agent updates may differ.

Octo retains all five WordPress entity managers and seven Free WooCommerce tools, but only outline/validation from Gutenberg discovery; larger block design goes to Content Writer. Content Writer does not moderate comments. Builder does not manage menus. Store Manager can find/import/edit media and assign product images without executing PHP. SEO Specialist reads focused product/content context and edits metadata, not bodies.
Questions, plans, handoffs, skill loading and local help search/read are shared helpers. Skills load on demand rather than placing their full text in every prompt. Pro adds five schedule tools and the schedule skill to Octo/Builder, hosted web access to all built-ins and image generation to Octo/Content Writer when available. Builder's shell command remains globally disabled by default. Native permissions and approval are unchanged.
