Customize Octo

Edit agents, prompts, skills and extensions, and make OctoPress look the way you like.

Most of OctoPress can be adjusted under OctoPress → Settings. The tabs are Prompts, Agents, Providers, Tools, Skills, Extensions, Data Control and Appearance, plus License and Runtime with Pro.

Agents: the personalities Octo can use, each with its own prompt, tools and skills.
Skills: reusable instruction packs the agent loads on demand.
Extensions: switch whole feature bundles on or off.
System prompt: the base instructions every agent receives.
Appearance: theme, accent color, corners, density and font.

Tools and providers have their own sections: Tool access and roles and Providers and models.

Agents Edit the built-in agents or create your own, with a custom prompt, allowed tools and skills, default model and handoff targets.
Skills Skills are reusable instruction packs. Turn them on or off, read them, and add your own.
Extensions Extensions bundle tools, skills and agents. Switch them on or off, and see why one is unavailable.
System prompt Edit the base instructions every agent receives, such as language, tone and house rules, and reset them to the default.
Appearance Choose a light, dark or system theme, accent color, corner style, density and font for your OctoPress screens.
